And she became a Copyright Moderator

In Aug 2016 I embarked on a new career as a Copyright Moderator. I was looking for a complete change as I had become wearisome of the Librarians game and frankly I thought retirement was a good option. Sometimes you just have to hold your breath and jump! It’s scary but inside you know you can do it. So I jumped, with no parachute but the good hand of fortune reached out and caught my descent, and carried me softly down to a place where my battered wings grew new and vibrant feathers and I found myself in a happy place doing happy work. Great team, great boss. How could I ever have doubted that this was out there waiting for me?

I know we all get so bogged down with money. Earning it, not earning it and it is scary, but if you can just make it through a few months…try and make the jump. You’ll never know where you will end up.

2015 au revoir!

2015 has been a really big year. Lots of love and lots of learning and lots of letting go.

My University has had a total overhaul. Staff have gone, jobs have changed. Comfort zones have shifted and things are changed forever. Where do I fit in with this?  Well, change, learning, challenge and self reflection has been a big part of 2015. How I choose to come into my place of work is completely up to me. A smile and a spring in my step is my modus operandi. How I behave is my choice.

I choose to live each and every day with fun, and enthusiasm. I find joy in the smallest of things and I thank the universe every morning that I am alive and that my family are well.

As 2015 rolls into 2016 I wish for resilience, patience and joy.

I wish that for all of you too.
