Book club book review

I love a book with an intriguing cover.
Miss Peregrines home for peculiar children by Ransom Riggs (surely that is not a real name?) was a delicious read.

The story is told around a series of vintage black and white photos. The inclusion of these images is intriguing and although aimed at the young adult market I really enjoyed this read, and the journey it took me on.

It’s about personal identity, belonging and celebrating differences. Oh and adventure and a good dose of magical fantasy!
